"Beyond DV works to empower women and children who are survivors of domestic violence to reclaim control of their lives through life changing service programs. Too many of us have experienced, or know someone who has experienced domestic and family violence in their lives and understand the significant impact this can have. Beyond DV aims to assist and support fellow Queenslanders by providing services to help them regain their self-confidence and reach their full potential. As a local Brisbane charity that has been unable to conduct significant fundraising this year due to COVID, this event offers the chance to make a real contribution to a vital cause."
